A Message From Dr. Stephenie
My journey into healthcare began in biomedical engineering, where I designed medical devices. But over time, I became frustrated with a system that focused more on treating illness than preventing it. In the early '90s, I was introduced to Environmental Medicine—the study of how our environment impacts our health. It opened my eyes not only to the rising levels of toxins in our food, water, and air, but more importantly, to their impact on our health.
This realization sparked a passion that led me to pursue a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, which I earned from Bastyr University in 2004.
To me, wellness is more than a career—it’s a way of life. I believe the choices we make every day—from what we eat, how we sleep and breathe, to how we move—all determine our long-term health. Small, consistent actions build the foundation for lasting well-being. It’s not about quick fixes, but sustainable, mindful choices that shape a vibrant future.
That’s why I am passionate about the Living Light program. It’s designed to help you reset your metabolism, lose unhealthy weight, and overhaul your lifestyle with practical, science-based strategies. By addressing the root causes of common health issues and building habits that support real, lasting change, we can cultivate vitality that’s more powerful than any supplement, diet, or quick fix.
