TIMELINE
WEEKS 1-2
Release Phase Begins.
Loading Days: You’ll start with two high-calorie days to rev up your metabolism and prepare your body for fat release. This step is crucial for success.
Detox Symptoms: As your body begins to release stored toxins, you might experience mild symptoms like fatigue, headaches, or irritability. These are temporary, lasting only a couple days.
Weight Release: Many people notice the scale moving for the first time in years, with initial losses of 5-10 pounds (mostly water and inflammation weight). Energy starts to improve, and belief in the process sets in!
WEEK 3
Plateau Phase
This is where many hit a temporary plateau, which can feel frustrating after the loss in the first 2 weeks. It’s OK—your body is re-calibrating. Now is time to focus on the victories like better sleep, more focused thinking, better ability to handle stress, clearer skin, or reduced joint pain.

Your initial intake with Dr. Riley will be a full First Office visit, 45-60 minutes, and establish you as a patient in our practice. This package also includes a patient follow-up at the end of the 10-week program to establish a health plan moving forward.

Metabolic Reset FAQ
How is this different from other programs?
We are proud to say that there is no other program like this in the world! In fact, we are currently training hundreds of other practitioners in this methodology. This program goes far beyond weight loss and really focuses on teaching you the fundamentals to live a healthy and balanced life, before chronic disease sets in.
What is weight loss is not my main goal?
This reset is excellent at facilitating weight loss, but for far more than weight loss alone! If you don't have weight to lose, a metabolic reset is still beneficial for energy, sleep, mindset and hormonal balance. We will adjust the program for weight maintenance.
How much weight will I lose?
The amount of weight loss will vary from person to person. Those with more weight and inflammation will lose it faster. The first 10 is the easiest, the last 10 is the hardest. Everything in between will depend on compliance and efforts that you put forth. This program is designed to gently and safely lower your weight. The average person loses between 15-45 pounds in 6 weeks!
What will I be eating?
During the program, you will be eating a nutrient-dense, hypoallergenic, and anti-inflammatory diet. You will have an unlimited intake of certain foods (veggies and greens) with a balanced intake of lean protein, starches, and fruit. You will have over 100 recipes to choose from and lots of new foods to nourish your body!
What if I am on medication?
If you are on medication, we will evaluate your case with a me to be sure that there are no contraindications. If you are on medications prescribed by another doctor, we will discuss your need to discuss changes with them directly. Those on blood pressure and diabetes medications will need to carefully monitor their levels since many patients experience complete normalization of their blood sugar and pressure levels. For those who are diabetic, we suggest purchasing a continuous blood glucose monitor to track their numbers.
Why do you scale back exercise?
This is a question that comes up often. The basis of our program is to reset your nervous system to a state of healing and repair. Most exercise programs are far too demanding and create more of an imbalance. During the first phase of the program, you will scale back your normal exercise but will be able to engage in yoga, walking, rebounding, and sauna use.
Are the results permanent?
We designed this program to have permanent results. The results will correspond with your adherence to a healthy lifestyle. Since “healthy” is multifaceted, it's important to follow the upgraded lifestyle for a lifetime. It's not about perfection, it's about the pursuit of your best self. If you are strictly doing this program to look good, this is not the program for you. This program is for those that are willing to do good so they can feel good and then look good!
What happens when the 10-weeks are finished?
If you have more weight to lose, you may repeat the program as many times as you like. Simply pay for the products you need. You will have continued access to the online course as long as we continue the program. This will enable you to continue to learn and benefit from our growing library of knowledge and have access to special offers, events, and trainings!
Who is this program NOT for?
This program is NOT for those that are extremely ill or have a debilitating chronic disease. This program is for those that deeply value their health, are highly coachable, like accountability, are responsive to positive feedback, and are honest with themselves and others. The goal of this program is not perfection, instead the goal is for personal growth!
Meet Dr. Stephenie Riley
My journey into healthcare began in biomedical engineering, where I designed medical devices. But over time, I became frustrated with a system that focused more on treating illness than preventing it. In the early '90s, I was introduced to Environmental Medicine—the study of how our environment impacts our health. It opened my eyes not only to the rising levels of toxins in our food, water, and air, but more importantly, to their impact on our health.
This realization sparked a passion that led me to pursue a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, which I earned from Bastyr University in 2004.
To me, wellness is more than a career—it’s a way of life. I believe the choices we make every day—from what we eat, how we sleep and breathe, to how we move—all determine our long-term health. Small, consistent actions build the foundation for lasting well-being. It’s not about quick fixes, but sustainable, mindful choices that shape a vibrant future.
That’s why I am passionate about the Living Light program.
